Purpose of the Job
Key Accountabilities: Description
• Responsible to confirm the symptom with the customer to ensure the customer is aware the repair to be done.
• Responsible to conduct diagnostic to identify the cause, repair to be done and parts to be replaced
• Responsible to stop repair work if unable to identify the cause of the symptom and seek for support from TMC Regional office
• Responsible to place identification marker for repair or maintenance on the vehicle to ensure a proper action will be taken by the appointed technician
• Responsible to perform final inspection on the repair being done to ensure customer satisfaction
Key Accountabilities: Performance Indicators
Major Activities
• Confirming the customer request for repair based on the job order form.
• Confirming the symptoms with the customer and completed the job order form on the diagnostic that being conducted, repair need to be done and parts need to be replaced.
• Confirm availability of required repair parts with Parts Advisor.
• Explain to customer and confirm understanding of work performed, estimated time of completion.
• Seek support from Regional TMC Office for any repair work which the cause of the symptom is unable to be identified Identify the appropriate technician for the repair by referring to the Technician skill board Verify with the customer that repair request already resolved
