Major Activities
1. Supervise the implementation of Toyota Production System (TPS) in the Warehouse operation to ensure that parts ship out in accordance to the targeted level by adhering to the process and procedures thereby improving business productivity.
2. Implement the strategic plan and annual action plan to be able to create a safety environment for the people and parts to eliminate near miss accidents thereby reducing the operational costs.
3. Coordinate with other departments to ensure the shipping process of the stocks is as per the targeted time frame and assist in the monitoring of the stocks and ensure that the conduct of stock taking is within the approved procedures.
4. Assist the Manager in the knowledge transfer to associates and implement the succession plans to improve associate’s satisfaction and productivity and develop them to become multi-skilled workers.
5. Coordinate with ESSR Department in maintaining the safety of the warehouse operation and to ensure that the people and stocks are secured and safe in the warehouse by adhering to the safety rules and procedures.
6. Monitor the sections KPIs and set the new targets for each section and institute control of the operation cost to enhance the shipping productivity and quality as per approved company policies and procedures.
7. Supervise and monitor resources skill mix in order to absorb any fluctuation in job mix with minimum down time and ensures and harmonizes best flow of manpower, vehicles, parts, documents and others that best fits the work load and job mix
8. Monitor the stocks loaded for shipment are according to the customers’ requirement and ensure that all items picked, checked, packed and exited as per the targeted time frame, included in the manifest and would reach the right destination by allocating the shipment in accordance to the accepted procedures.
