Purpose of the Job

The role is responsible to monitor planes execution in the field and control vehicles movement as per supervisor direction across storage locations, and monitor vehicles handover process between departments within the stockyards,

Logistics operations senior specialist is supports analyzing and submitting operations data to his supervisor on day-to-day basis  as well as contributing in monthly dashboard preparation for operation management

Major Activities

Ensure the daily plans provided by Planning team are executed in the ground for : PIO – Stock Maintenance – Treatment – Picking & Dispatch plans and PDC Job .

Ensure all vehicles movements procedures are followed and vehicles properly parked, moved , segregated & organize in areas as per its SOPs.

Ensure all required communication with regards to plans with planning team are initiated or received on time daily .

Perform 2nd level of manpower allocation in the field and update their daily drivers planning sheets.

Reflect operation situation across other stakeholder such as PIO, receiving and dispatch etc. from the field on real-time basis to direct supervisor, take orders and procced with executions on ground.

Prepare the daily closing operation report and share it within the team

Support in the preparation of the monthly operation dashboards Vs KPIs related to the requested operation and share it with management for performance achievements calculation

Support month ends operation, by handling and managing all issues and pressure for dispatching and arrival operations ,to make sure to achieve the target at the required time

Assist in nominating the candidate annual resource rotation plan by recommending the best roles for the selected candidates 

Initiate and submit the changes required in SOPs every 6 months .

  • The job holder has direct impact over Sales Achievement, and TMO target for fulfillment incase of lack of operation plans executions.
  • The job holder has indirect impact of overall guest satisfaction in terms of managing delivery lead-time

  • The job holder has the freedom to set drivers picking targets and cycle time

The job holder has important supporting role which contributes in developing and motivating the team while developing a succession plan within the department

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferably in industrial engineering / supply chain management / Business Management or equivalent field

Minimum Experience

2 Years of experience in operations with proven records
