Purpose of the Job

The SAP Material Management consultant should deliver and support in the activities of business Demand Management, IT Resource Capacity Management, Requirements / Backlog Management, Testing and QA, Configuration Management, Service Request Management, Incident Management, Master Data Management, Service Level Management, Data Quality, Solution Design, Lifecycle Management, Knowledge Management, Problem Management, Continuous Improvement, Product Selection & Prioritization, Project and Program Management, Vendor Management, Data Stewardship, Provision & Configure, Business Continuity, Customer Experience Design, IT Delivery Model Definition, Organizational Change Management, PoC & Prototype, Integration, Release & Deployment Management, architecture of software.

Key Accountabilities: Description

1- Ensure the team delivery of Change Request for all the Business stakeholders. 

2- Ensure the team's Compliance with ITD Incidents SLA to ALJ Business

3- Lead and deliver the assigned project in Hoshin as per agreed timelines. 

4- Consistently upgrade technical skills with emerging technologies related to SAP MM scope. 

Key Accountabilities: Performance Indicators

1- 80 % of on Timely Delivery for every 6 months. 

2- 98 % of Support SLA to be achieved for every 6 months. (L1 & L2 tickets). 

3- Lead the projects and deliver as per the project plan shared by Project Management Team. 

4- Complete courses provided by the Organization

Major Activities

  1. Configuration of SAP MM: Key areas - Master Data, Stock Transfer Order, Inventory Control, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Order Processing and other procurement and logistics areas. 
  2. Develop functional specifications and test data for developers.
  3. Provide general technical support in MM business systems analysis for our clients and conduct SAP training as required for client personnel. 
  4. Demo of SAP standard functions, help identify gaps and recommend solutions. 
  5. Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements. 
  6. Act as liaison with business for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.
  7. Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues.
  8. Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements. 
  9. Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
  10. Manage and oversee the design and development of RICEFW’s, utilizing ABAP technical resources and other tools functionality within SAP

The job has a crucial role in ensuring internal team or other functional modules integrated with Material Management of support for CR’s / Projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree is required.

Minimum Experience

  • 3 years’ experience in SAP MM, automotive sector, and Experience in managing business demand. 
  • At least one full cycle (end to end) of SAP implementation.
