Purpose of the Job

  • The ultimate purpose of the position is to protect ALJM from the risk impact and ensure ALJM is having the right measures in place as controls and actions to ensure continuity and business resiliency.
  • Responsible of ensure the implementation and realization of ALJ risk management framework and processes and ensure risk analyst team is performing up to the agreed performance criteria

Key Accountabilities: Description

Responsible of the deployment and execution of ALJ risk framework, overall risk management processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Support and facilitate the enrollment of risk management capabilities across ALJ Motors in line with the risk maturity levels and maturity improvement plans.

Facilitate the execution of risk management by enabling the business operational teams to identify, analyze, evaluate, treat, monitor, and report risks.

Participate and support in the development and execution of ALJ Motors risk strategies, annual plans, and risk improvement plan.

Design, plan, and implement department level risk review focus groups, and interviews for risk assessment (identification, analysis, and evaluation), and treatment.

Key Accountabilities: Performance Indicators

Progressive risk maturity improvement (minimum 5% Annually)

Number of risk capabilities enrollment (as per maturity improvement plan)

Quality of Principals and department risk profile and RCAPS.

70% to 90% of plan execution, Hoshin performance

70% to 90% completion of plans reviews.

80% to 90% quality of risk profile.

Major Activities

Participate in the development of the risk management plan, SOPs, and overall risk related activities.

Support and execute all related activities that designated to advance the ALJ Motors risk maturity.

Facilitate the preparation and execution of the risk identification, assessment, and treatment at the enterprise and department levels.

Analyze business environment at local and global levels to determines risks factors and trending risks.

Ensure business compliance to ALJ risk management framework, processes, and guidelines through reviews, monitoring risk, quality checks, enabling internal/external assessments, or other required means

Ensure the creation, assessment, and performance reporting of risk network from operations as risk owners, risk leads, risk champions, and subject matter experts

Track risks profiles qualities and provide the required support and guidance to business on how to improve the quality of risk profiles and their related RCAPs.

Support and help in the development of the required policies, procedures, and processes to enable ALJ risk management framework and overall risk management practice within business

Gather, aggregate, and analyze data from different sources to create risk context, identify risks, assess risks, and facilitate the development of relative controls and actions

Maintain, update, and report ALJ Motors risks and ensure their relativeness, and up-to-date state in terms of risk profiles, assessment, reviews, and controls/actions status

Ensure proper data handling and digital recording of risk artifacts, data, and analytical results within ALJ risk management system

Conduct quality reviews on risks profiles and their related RCAPs at department level

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, management, or relative business areas

Minimum Experience

Minimum 4-6 years of experience in risk management or relative fields
