General supervision over operational activities related to the CV & MPV model range

Medium Authority over daily marketing and branding operation, in-addition to shared authority with Demand and Supply team to achieve the product KPIs

Purpose of the Job

• Integrated management of Sport Utility Vehicles, ensuring achievement of volume, share and GP objectives. Custodian of Sport Utility Vehicle by consistently growing agreed brand attributes

• Volume. Share. Gross Profit/ Gross Profit margin. Stock turn/ Stock Aging. Marketing ROI

Major Activities

1. Achievement of “top-line” results by Brand: volume, share, gross profit, gross margin

2. Leads all product / pricing / volume planning for future products less than 24 months from launch and current models (Product Strategy & Planning Dept leads for products more than 24 months from launch)

3. Achievement of key Purchase Funnel, Brand Health, and Guest Loyalty metrics “Guest Advocate” to ensure Guest wants and needs are understood and reflected in all Marketing decisions and plans

4. Marketing Strategy and Marketing Mix management (details covered under Key Activities below). Responsible for “cradle to grave” brand management of each Sport Utility Vehicle (CV)

5. Leads monthly Tactical Marketing / Sales Planning process to create tactical marketing actions

6. Provides product information required by Channels to support product training, product presentations and Point of Sale

7. Briefs IMC and Agency on all required Communications activities (ATL, BTL, events, digital). Review all CV group communications before approval by Director

8. Coordinating the performance management process with different departments to ensure consistency across the organization and advise the line manager on the performance rating distribution statistics

9. Leads ALJ-wide Launch Coordination for new / updated models

10. Develops and proposes annual Nenkei volume and share. Develops and proposes annual Budget volume, share and gross profit Develops and proposes annual Pricing strategy

11. Develops Positioning and Strategy for each nameplate. Creates and executes annual Brand Plan by CV

12. Collects data from numerous external and internal sources to identify and monitor competitor activity, consumer trends and CV group performance

13. Develops Guest retention plans and promotions specific to CV

14. Manage, mentor, and develop associates and ensure they are provided opportunities for development and that career paths and succession plans are charted out through a Succession/ Progression Development Interventions

• The job entails BTL marketing initiatives and the execution of lower funnel projects

• The job has a crucial supportive role to ensure custodian of CV by consistently growing agreed brand attributes.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing

Minimum Experience

At least 3 year’s experience in Automotive, or 5 years Marketing experience in another industry
