Purpose of the Job
With potential home base locations throughout our businesses, this 24-month program is structured in five major sections, or phases. These will help you get to know the Abdul Latif Jameel family of businesses and our people, and so to integrate smoothly into our culture.
Below is a brief an overview of this structure and of what you can expect out of the MTP. Please note that Abdul Latif Jameel reserves the right to modify this program from time to time to suit our needs as well as those of our applicants or trainees
This initial induction phase will provide training and experiences designed to equip you with an invaluable insight into the culture, strategy, and structure of our Abdul Latif Jameel family of businesses.
In this phase, you will get exposure to all levels of our management and the senior executive team. You will meet with other Management Trainee Program delegates from around the world.

Major Activities
Over the course of the 24-month program, you will experience 3-4 rotational assignments, each of 6-8 months duration.
The assignments in this rotational period will be drawn from a wide range of business disciplines and may include areas such as strategy, sales, operations, finance, human resources, investment, marketing, technology in both corporate functions, and operational businesses involved in industry sectors from mobility, financial services, renewable energy, and environmental services to health, and much more.
In Phase III, you will participate in an exclusive leadership development program designed to develop your own leadership skills. The elements of this phase will include behavioral training, mentoring, group coaching, and on-the-job development.
During the individual assignments you will be leading a process improvement, or similar, project in one of the operational businesses or central support functions. Working with others in your own team and almost certainly cross-functionally around the business.
Your project will be structured around measurable and agreed SMART goals and performance KPI and you will be given regular feedback and mentoring on your personal performance and the project itself.
At the end of each of the rotational assignments and the self-led project phases, your performance will be assessed with you.
At the end of your entire MTP journey, you will also be asked to present your final project, during the last week of the program, in front of the senior leadership team of the company and other stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering, Business, Science, Pharma, Radiology, Human Resources, Finance or related degree.
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputed college/university, with over 1 -2 years of work experience and/or added certification will be considered.
Minimum Experience
- Overall work experience of 0-5 years, including any ALJ work experience for internal candidates.

- Proficiency in business software, including the Microsoft Office suite of programs, is required.
