Purpose of the Job

Responsible for maintaining stock in all warehouses, as per PIOC production planning, the Inventory specialist takes care of running the material requirements planning (MRP) and creating Inbound delivery IBD (ASN) on time before the arrival of goods based on shipment documents

Key Accountabilities: Description

Run of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to transfer stock from main w/house to sub-warehouses on the same day for tomorrow's production plan of the number of vehicles WIP (Work in Progress).

Items Repaint from manufacturing  and arrange stocks as required (NDC+ASN) vehicles demand to fulfill Production planning to avoid any shortage and PSR weekly report

Receive consumables items requests from Sub-Warehouses and Main Warehouse to Remove from unrestricted stocks and charge to customer codes in JSAP.

Follow up with procurement team for upcoming shipments ETA (Shortage delivery Plan) according to (NDC+ASN) vehicles arrivals

ROGI container request based on shortage in the main warehouse against (NDC+ASN) vehicles calculations.

Major Activities

Daily Monitor outstanding stock transfer order STO (Goods Issued, Goods Received)

Arrangement of goods from all main warehouses and Rogi to cover PIO production demand & TMO priority.

Follow up with procurement team for upcoming shipments ETA (Shortage delivery Plan) according to (NDC+ASN) vehicles arrivals.

Receive consumables items requests from Sub-Warehouses and Main Warehouse to Remove from unrestricted stocks and charge to customer codes in JSAP.

Items Repaint from MFG and arrange stocks as required (NDC+ASN) vehicles demand to fulfill Production planning to avoid any shortage and PSR weekly report.

Defective Claims received from Plants after QA approval and items moving from unrestricted to Block Storage Location.

Return items from Block to Plants Unrestricted after JACS QA approved after getting the confirmation of receiving the goods by Plants Supervisors. 

Safety Pack items ordered from the Supplier to maintain stocks in the main warehouse as required stocks for (NDC+ASN) arrival vehicles + 1Month Replenishment stocks. Weekly make Safety pack items Report to check stocks availability V/s Required qty and share report to the Management.

New Model Launching Report to update all JACS stake holders with complete Parts availability Vs vehicles at (NDC+ASN) arrival and update parts shipment information ETA.

PI document entry in JSAP system for Annual Stock count process in all Main warehouses and Plants Sub- warehouses.

Minimum Qualifications

Diploma in Supply Chain or Equivalent

Minimum Experience

3 years’ experience in the field of Inventory Control

  • The job requires advanced knowledge of project execution and monitoring stock situations.
