Purpose of the Job
Apply Engineering principles and practices to ensure that the facilities are designed, constructed, renovated and maintained in a safe and cost effective and timely manner. To ensure all renovations are constructed in accordance with Saudi Building codes and regulations. Overall project supervision beginning from tender evaluation to closure and handover on renovations under his control.
Key Accountabilities: Description
Responsible for the implementation, Site Supervision and quality of work for all projects allocated to him
Preparation of Project plan in conjunction with third parties to ensure projects are completed on time and within agreed contractual budget,
Accountable to ensure quality of work carried out meets all required KSA standards and all documentation such as warranties, As Built Drawings etc, are delivered in hard and soft copy and are 100% Accurate
Review the final detailed design to ensure accuracy of tender documents before contract acceptance.
Key Accountabilities: Performance Indicators
Number of project completion
Create project plan approved by Line Manager for each project under his supervision
Full compliance to KSA standards
Contract review and sign off.
Major Activities
Responsible for on-site supervision of external contractors and consultants for the assigned projects.
Helping in evaluation, negotiation, and recommendation of contract tenders.
Prepare new project plan and timelines and obtain line management approve for each project allocated to him.
Review the final detailed design to ensure accuracy of tender documents and approve prior to contract approval.
Evaluate the progress of each project and produce a monthly status report.
Overall project control in terms of scope, cost, quality and timelines.
Assist in developing end-users’ requirement and providing best possible solution/option in accordance with the budget, functionality and timelines. (For small projects under SR 500 K).
Regular visits to the project to check/evaluate the progress and quality in daily basis.
Preparation of BOQ and specifications for the small projects under SR 500 K.
Communicate the requirements of the project to the contractors in order to get the quotation that are in line with the expectation (small projects)
Assist Project Engineers in matters of Price Negotiation, Selection of Sub-contractors on their projects.
Meet with end users to get their requirement and discuss project status.
Brainstorming with the team to reduce project timelines and cost.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum Experience
7 years of related experience in the field
