Purpose of the Job
As an Automotive Connected Technology Product Manager, you will be a key player in driving the development and success of cutting-edge Connected technologies within ALJM for Toyota and Lexus. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle from initiation to market launch, ensuring that our Connected technology solutions meet the evolving needs of our market and customers.
Key Accountabilities: Description
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities and challenges, providing insights to guide product development and positioning.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Brand Managers, Mobility Sandbox, and MRI, to define product requirements based on market demands and technological capabilities.
Roadmap Planning: Create and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements that align with business goals and customer expectations.
Product Launch: Coordinate and lead the successful launch of connected technology products, ensuring a seamless rollout and customer adoption.
Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor product performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize user experience and achieve business objectives.

Major Activities
Constantly monitor market, competition, internal teams and customer feedback to create or refine Connected product/service features.
Work closely with internal ALJM stakeholders, including Toyota and Lexus Product Planning, Mobility Sandbox to understand their needs and challenges related to new and existing Connected products and services.
Collaborate with Toyota and Lexus Product Planning team to define and prioritize Connected services features, functionalities, and user experiences for both short-term success and long-term growth goals.
Identify and engage with potential Connected technology partners and startups through online resources, industry reports, conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Contribute to the development of clear criteria for evaluating technology partners and products, considering factors such as technical capabilities, compatibility, scalability, and strategic fit.
Oversee the execution of pilot programs or proof-of-concept projects to test and validate products, services, and concepts to test the compatibility and effectiveness of new technologies or products in real-world scenarios.
Stay informed about relevant regulations and standards in KSA, ensuring that our existing and planned Connected technology products and services comply with local legal requirements.
Conduct extensive testing and quality assurance to ensure that Connected products and services meet defined acceptance criteria and quality standards before launch in the market.
Collaborate with internal ALJM stakeholders and external partners in creating effective launch plans for Connected products and services ensuring proper integration into existing systems and processes, and smooth transition and alignment with business operations.
Execute launch plans for Connected products and services.
Monitor and gather feedback from users and stakeholders to identify potential areas for improvement, and proactively propose enhancements to the product or service based on data and insights.
Proactively identify and address potential risks and challenges, working with relevant internal and external stakeholders to find effective solutions and countermeasures.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related Technical field
Minimum Experience
5 years of experience in Technology related roles in Automotive, Digital or Telecom industries

- Proven experience in product management within the automotive, telecom or IoT industries.
- Knowledge of automotive connected technologies, IoT, telematics, and related ecosystems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
