Purpose of the Job

To operate the PSIM software and monitor and control all incidents as well as alarms received from all ALJ Facilities connected to the Centralized Control Room.

Key Accountabilities: Description

  • Operate the PSIM (physical security information management system) as per the guidelines and manual provided, ensuring effective communication to all sites connected to the Centralized Control Room.
  • Ensure the CCTV System at the facilities connected to the Centralized Control Room complies with KSA regulations.
  • Identifying and reporting of all fire alarms (connected facilities) and motion detection (E-Guard System) raised through PSIM System and reacting to the alarms as per security procedure.

Major Activities

  1. Operate the PSIM software as well as E-Guard software as per the guidelines and manual provided. 
  2. Perform basic troubleshooting for any deficiencies raise through the system.
  3. Deal with all emergencies as per Emergency Policy and Procedures.
  4. Reports any equipment failure alarms to contracted maintenance provider and follow-up with all stakeholders until the problem solved.
  5. Prepare a monthly system analysis report and present it in Security Meetings.
  6. Prepare daily and weekly maintenance tickets - reports.
  7. Digitally archiving all incident reports in central server weekly.
  8. Monitoring of the E- Guard system and reporting of incidents as per procedure.
  9. Handling the health check to the (CCTV- NVRs- recording period) for dedicated (regions- Facilities) on monthly bases and send a report biweekly.
     

Job Context

  • The job requires advanced knowledge of operating PSIM software as well as E-Guard systems. 
  • The job has direct impact over ensuring that CCTV System and the Centralized Control Rooms are connected as per KSA regulations.

  • The job holder has the freedom to Perform basic troubleshooting for any deficiencies that may occur. 
  • The job holder has the freedom to develop a monthly analysis report.

  • The job holder has a crucial strategic role in monitoring all critical warning and surveillance systems within ALJM. 
  • The job has a crucial supporting role in monitoring the systems during the tour of duty and maintain the CCTV and Fire Alarm Systems to be ready for use.

Minimum Qualifications

Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or relevant.

Minimum Experience

Minimum of three to five years in the same credentials level.
